We thought we would last an eternity
A Happy ever after love story
Like the ones you read in the children's books
Then something came between us
Tore us apart as if we were never supposed to become one
Separated us as if we were...

Alone Being alone feels better than being around othersPeople are overly

Being alone feels better than being around others

People are overly loud

Miserable

dull

And will always betray you

Alone I say is better

That way no one can hurt you

Alone is always the best way to be

Is what I tell myself

Because if not

the silence from being alone will consume me.

Now we're stuck in our reality

I realize now you always meant to leave

To cause me grief
